A spontaneous vision of Provence. Bright reds and luminous whites; with Syrah, Grenache and Carignan on one side and Viognier on the other, minerality and gourmet flavours for the first, fruit and freshness for the second. Incredibly moving simplicity and honesty.

    Bastide de la Verrerie White

    Viognier
This is a wine for the here and now, it steps along the pathway of experiences and crosses the cool river of contented days. It is the epitome of a new spring day in Provence that opens its arms with an offering of flowers and fruit, picked from the fragrant meadows and from trees overflowing with sap. It is Viognier alone that can unfurl its floral liveliness and apricot character.

Full and fat. The attack is powerful and plump. It recalls and brings more texture to the spellbinding tangy fruity and floral aromas. As it evolves, the wine is robust with sensual volume. Its substance and flesh are adorned with a unique freshness. On the finish, there are citrus and tropical aromas again, enhanced with a few spices and a touch of peppermint.
A pale yellow colour with green glints, very luminous, almost crystalline.
A delight. It elegantly brings together the aromas of white flowers and fruit with yellow flesh. With a swirl of the glass come exotic and citrus notes with scents of blackcurrant leaf on a bed of spices.
  2. Bastide de la Verrerie Red

    Grenache - Syrah
Grenache, Syrah, and Carignan benefit from the same care, the same attention from enlightened growers as their celebrated elders, it is only geology that separates them and gives them more lightness. The rigorous double grape selection is the guarantee of freshness, crispness and immediate spontaneity. This is an honest wine with notes of liquorice and fresh violets. An invigorating Mediterranean breeze.

The style is quite light, clean and elegant. It is dominated by fruit, spices and freshness. This is an easy-drinking wine with a refined tannin structure and a pleasant and complex finish.
Very bright garnet colour, clear with medium intensity.
Clean, fresh and elegant. It develops aromas of wild black berries (blackberry, blackcurrant, blueberry and elderberry), which are underscored with stone fruit aromas (sloe, Morello cherry), sweet liquorice and even a hint of violet. After swirling the glass, there are touches of Rhône Valley spices, a dash of salt and fresh leather.
